Alumni enjoyed a good discussion on education and career planning with secondary school students
at a visit organized by the
Community Service Team
. The team took the lead to visit the schools and
invited alumni to give useful advice. It was a very fruitful occasion for the students – and the alumni had
a good time, too!

A highlight program of the
Circle Team
this year was the A1
Entrepreneur Seminar, held in July, at which
alumni congregated at Business Central and
learnt a lot from Shih Wing Ching, Founder
of Centaline Property Agency Limited and
well known columnist. He shared not only
his entrepreneurial journey but also his
insights on social and economic issues with
Alumni Engagement Team
recently organized various specialty
events for alumni. To kick start the series,
the A1 Watch Appreciation Workshop
introduced the luxury watch industry
and recent trends in watch collecting to
participants. The Portrait Photography
Workshop brought together photography
lovers who were able to hone their skills
in composition and use of natural light in order to capture the best possible shots.
Members also got the opportunity to tour the campus on a sunny weekend, when it
looked its best!
A1 Annual Dinner 2015
on October 29 was a very joyous occasion. Among those
in attendance were President Prof Tony Chan and Dr Eden Woon, Vice-President for
Institutional Advancement. Association President Alvin Lam gave a detailed account of
the accomplishments over the past year and listed out future plans.
